MKS DLC V2 + DRIVERS DM542

Hallo Tazmahv,
why should this not be possible?
I can install any driver to any DLC and I have also shown: TB 6600 and there is no difference from the connection to the DM542
I use but adapters from Barton Dring wen the cloned Y-axes
Regards

I already saw the video what I understand is because you have 2 drivers I think I see
I just want to connect the dm542
I do not know if I explain myself very well -
If you want to connect the dm542 to the board you can either use Adapter boards from Barton Dring that route the control signals to the Motor ports, like Stephan did.
Or you connect the DM542 directly to the control pins on the board.
In both cases the currently mounted driver module must be removed.
-
exactly what I want is to directly connect the DM542 to the mks
It would be something like this ??
it's tests I'm doingbut at the moment I can't get the motor moving
-
Christian, the adapter is very special and not a driver.
The signals for the TB6600 come out of the adapter.
Is therefore only an adapter that loops something because I do not like the pins : )
On the left on the X-axis the MKS adapter and on the Z-axis the adapter from Barton.
Pay attention to the colors of the cables in my videos!!!
The adapter from Barton is for the Y-axis so that I can connect two drivers to the blue connectors of the controller.
You really connected everything correctly?
-
-
ok tomorrow I'll keep trying to see if I find the solution
-
Are you sure the 4-pin headers carry the right signals? The silkscreen was not readable on your pictures.
-
If i see your wiring picture correctly, you got the Polarity of all Signals wrong.
The Pul-,Dir- and Ena- Terminals should be connectrd to GND and the Signal pins from the MKS to the respective Pul+, Dir+ and Ena+ Terminals, as all control singnals are active high on the DM542
-
if I think I understand it would be something like this
-
No.
Step goes to Pul+
Dir goes to Dir+
and enable goes to ENA+
The Minus pins are all connected to GND on the 4-pn header.
-
I hope it's the good one
-
Yes, that looks correct.
Hope you didn't fry something from your earlier tries.
-
haha I hope not
Tomorrow I will continue with the subject and I will inform if it works
Thank you -
You're Welcome.
Have a nice Evening.
-
-
if I already modified the presentation
-

-
